TWICE continues to show why they’re one of the top girl groups with their packed setlist, high-energy choreography, and captivating performances.
As with any live performance, some variables can’t be predicted or controlled, no matter how often the group rehearses. That often comes in the form of technical difficulties or wardrobe malfunctions.
During TWICE’s show in Melbourne, Australia, member Momo, unfortunately, suffered a wardrobe malfunction but earned praise for her incredible professionalism as she continued to perform until she had an opportunity to step off-stage.
As TWICE performed the dance break from “More & More,” Momo’s shirt came undone in the back. She expertly continued to perform the choreography while reaching a hand back to hold it closed.
As the group continued walking down to the front of the stage, Jeongyeon stepped in to hold Momo’s top closed before attempting to fix it during slow moments in the choreography.
When she couldn’t fix it, Momo stepped into place and continued with the stage, performing each move one-handed and as energetically as she would if she wasn’t preventing a wardrobe malfunction.
The next song, “MOONLIGHT SUNLIGHT,” began, and Momo was still on stage. Finally, after she completed her lines in the song, she ran off stage for her shirt to be fixed.
A fan captured the moment, and the video showing Momo’s professionalism earned over 145,000 likes and 607,300 views.
