TWICE Sends A Special Message To Mina During Their Win At 2019 MGMA

During the 2019 M2 X GENIE MUSIC AWARDS, TWICE took home the award for “The Female Group”. During their winning speech, Jihyo made a comment about how they were missing Mina on stage that night. She promised the fans that they will soon return as a full OT9 and shine brighter than ever.

Sana ended the speech with the cutest message to Mina by shouting, “Mina, we won an award!”

Mina was absent from the 2019 MGMAs because of her health concerns. She was recently spotted flying back to Korea after taking a period for rest in Japan. Fans were worried when she shed tears at the airport.

JYP Entertainment had once again confirmed that although Mina is back in Korea, she will still take the time to recover from her anxiety.

It’s true that Mina returned to Korea today. She didn’t return for a special reason or activity. It will be difficult for her to participate in the world tour and other schedules until she is completely recovered.

During TWICE’s second win at the awards ceremony, Dahyun and Nayeon also took the time to make sure to include Mina in their speech. They wanted to make sure she knew that although she wasn’t there with them, she will always be a part of their happiest moments.
