TWICE has reached a new milestone in their blooming career as female idols as they create a new record as the fastest K-Pop music video to reach over 50 million views on YouTube.
The group’s most recent hit “Cheer Up” was originally released on April 25th, and has received highly positive reactions from the public as it ranked#1 on the digital charts for weeks with 11 music show trophies under their belt to prove its success. Since its release nearly two months ago, the YouTube release of the music video has amassed over 50 million views, earning the title of the fastest K-Pop music video to reach such a high amount of view.
The latest JYP Entertainment girl group to debut under the agency has experienced quick popularity since their debut last year with “Like OOH-AHH,” which itself has attracted a millions of views since its release eight months ago, boasting nearly 72 million views at the time of this article’s publish.
Meanwhile, the group has changed gears after a month and a half of “Cheer Up” promotions and is performing “I’m Gonna Be A Star” while member Jungyeon recovers from her injury.
