According to the Thai Ambassador to South Korea, Tanee Sangrat, Jongluk Doungmanee went to South Korea for work about seven years ago. After marrying a Korean husband, she settled in Naju, working in the agricultural industry.
Earlier this month, Jongluk Doungmanee and her husband visited Thailand. While her husband returned to South Korea on the 14th, Jongluk Doungmanee boarded the doomed flight on the 29th.
Sirithon Chaue was a 4th-year Bangkok University student majoring in airline business management. She was only months away from graduating and dreamed of becoming a flight attendant. She boarded the fatal flight to visit her mother, who lives in South Korea.
May the victims rest in peace.
