TXT Members Break Down In Tears During Concert

Beomgyu is still suffering from injury.

TXT‘s 2024 ‘ACT: PROMISE’ World Tour is continuing with concerts in Japan. The group kicked off this leg of the tour at Tokyo Dome from July 10 to 11.

Tokyo Dome has a capacity of 55,000, so this is an incredible feat for TXT. MOAs couldn’t be more proud of them!

Unfortunately, these concerts are bittersweet for the members, as Beomgyu is currently suffering from an injury. In June, BIGHIT MUSIC shared via Weverse that Beomgyu was diagnosed with a sprained ligament in his ankle.

Hello, this is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We would like to inform you about the health and future activities of TXT’s Beomgyu.

Beomgyu recently visited the hospital due to an injury he suffered during his activities and was diagnosed with a sprained ligament in his ankle. We ask for your understanding that it will be difficult for him to participate in some official activities, such as Paris Fashion Week, due to the doctor’s opinion that he needs to rest for the time being.

Although Beomgyu has a strong desire to participate in all of his scheduled activities, we will proceed with his activities based on the doctor’s opinions and have our artist’s recovery as the top priority.

We will do our best to help Beomgyu recover as soon as possible so he can meet fans in good health.

Thank you.

Although his activities are limited right now, BIGHIT MUSIC revealed that Beomgyu still wishes to participate in all his scheduled activities as much as possible. So, he’s been spotted in public with crutches and even joined his members for the first of their Tokyo Dome shows.

Still, he was limited in what he was able to do. So, some of his iconic parts were covered by Taehyun.

Despite his injury, his fellow TXT members made sure to include Beomgyu every chance they got. So, some took turns giving him piggyback rides, allowing Beomgyu to go around and greet MOAs.

At the end of “Quarter Life,” Taehyun and Hueningkai ran to Beomgyu, who briefly stood so they could pose together!

TXT is always five, no matter what.

Naturally, the concert was an emotional experience for Beomgyu. He broke down in tears during “Miracle.”

When they realized this, the members immediately ran to Beomgyu. Yeonjun dedicated his part to Beomgyu, and the others continually comforted him.

During his final speech, Beomgyu told MOAs he felt regretful while rehearing. He isn’t sure when he’ll be able to perform there again.

Beomgyu wasn’t the only one who cried during “Miracle.” Soobin also was moved to tears, as it’s a meaningful song for him.

Like Beomgyu, Soobin cried at the end of the concert. Beomgyu usually runs over to comfort Soobin when he cries, so considering his condition, Soobin walked into Beomgyu’s arms.

The concert was emotional but heartwarming for everyone.
