TXT's Taehyun Says He Can't Live Without Beomgyu Because Of Several Reasons—And Their Friendship Is Everything

TXT‘s Taehyun recently sat down for an interview with Weverse Magazine. In one question, the topic of his contrasting MBTI personality compared to Beomgyu‘s was brought up.

Taehyun’s MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) is ESTP, a person who is flexible and pragmatic. Beomgyu, on the other hand, is ENFJ. He is warm, loyal, and inspiring. While the former is a “Thinker” type, the latter is a “Feeler.”

People were very interested in the difference between you and Beomgyu because of your ‘T’ and ‘F’ MBTI types. How does that difference actually come into play within the group dynamic?

Taehyun acknowledged that they are opposites in this way: “Beomgyu is an extreme Feeler and I’m an extreme Thinker, so we’re very different.”

At the same time, he couldn’t help but praise Beomgyu for his sweet and friendly personality. Like his MBTI personality suggests, he’s the type of person who can light up any room.

I feel like my work is really easy lately thanks to him because he’s great at all the things I can’t do, like he can talk and everyone would not find him annoying or he’s great on variety shows.

Taehyun also mentioned that Beomgyu is the mood maker of the group. While he himself would just react simply to something, Beomgyu would make everyone more energized with his words and actions.

And when we’re practicing, when someone says, ‘Let’s try that one more time,‘ I just quietly say, ‘Okay,’ but he’s able to boost the group’s morale and create a good atmosphere.
