Uncensored Photos Of NewJeans’ Debut Team Reveal Identities Of The 8 Trainees
On July 25, 2024, Dispatch released a training video from NewJeans‘ pre-debut team. Dubbed the “N-Team,” this group consisted of 7 members including the five debut members currently in NewJeans.
The trainees apart from the debut members have been censored.
On July 25, 2024, a netizen uploaded a photo of 8 girls, including the five NewJeans’ members. This group was said to be the closest to the final N-Team lineup before the final five.
Netizens were quick to sleuth out the identity of the trainees. The first three from left are Haerin, Danielle, and Hyein. The fourth girl’s face is largely obscured, leading fans to be unsure if it is former ILLIT‘s Youngseo.
The fifth from left was identified as Ryu Hanbi. The child actress was famously a part of ADOR before she left. Popular theory is that she was originally slated to be the maknae of the group, and was replaced when Hyein entered the company. The above photo proves that they actually trained at the same time.
Fans have identified the sixth girl as Gong Yubin. She is now a member of tripleS.
The last two on the right are Minji and Hanni.
It looks like these three girls narrowly missed the cut for debut. While Yubin and Hanbi have found success in other paths, many fans are still waiting for news about Youngseo.
