UNIQ "Reunite" For The First Time In Five Years To Help With A Member's Marriage Proposal

Fans of third-generation K-Pop groups probably remember when the Korean-Chinese group UNIQ made their debut. Consisting of five members, UNIQ was originally a collaborative effort between YG Entertainment and Yuehua.

The group saw a great deal of popularity despite only releasing one album, including recording the OSTs for the Chinese releases of TMNT and Penguins of Madagascar.

UNIQ has never officially disbanded, but each member has been pursuing individual projects since 2018 — Wang Yibo has seen a great deal of popularity following the release of The Untamed; Cho Seungyoun debuted as the solo artist WOODZ; Yixuan debuted in the group New Storm; Wenhan debuted in the group UNINE, and Sungjoo has been pursuing different acting projects.

Unexpectedly, the group were recently reunited for a very special reason!

Yixuan is currently appearing on All About Marriage with his girlfriend, Chen Meng Yao. The show features three couples living together to have “pre-marriage” talk.

The result of the show is meant to be the couple making the ultimate decision for the next step of their relationship — a marriage proposal. For Yixuan’s proposal, he created a video filled with messages from well-wishers for Mengyao to watch

Fans were surprised to see four familiar faces in the video! Each of the members of UNIQ took time to record messages for the couple!
