4th-Gen K-Pop Group Celebrates First-Ever Music Show Win In Over 5 Years

They worked really hard!

KBS 2TV‘s Music Bank began hiatus on October 11, but this week’s winner was still announced via the website.

It was revealed that the 4th-Gen K-Pop group VANNER finally scored their first-ever music show win with their new album BURN title track “Automatic.”

Previously, VANNER went viral as they competed on JTBC survival show Peak Time, as they worked part-time jobs in addition to maintaining their dreams of being K-Pop idols. Ultimately, VANNER won, receiving the prize of a global showcase and over $200,000 USD.

Their hard work is undoubtedly paying off. After nearly six years, they have secured their first-ever music show win. “Automatic” totaled 6,788 points on the Music Bank K-Chart from September 30 to October 6, beating NCT WISH’s “Steady” and Choi Ye Na’s “NEMONEMO,” which scored 5,531 and 3,146, respectively.
