She shared that she had filed a lawsuit against JYP Entertainment after experiencing abuse at the hands of the company’s staff via her Instagram Stories. She claimed that the treatment was so bad that a member of the group had attempted to take her own life, as well as caused a member to self-harm. Her lawsuit revealed details regarding these allegations.

On March 6, the first hearing was held between the two parties, with no outcome apparent yet.

VCHA are currently inactive and have been so for over a year, with member Kaylee currently on hiatus. Plans for their comeback were initially discussed before KG’s lawsuit, leaving many unsure of the group’s fate.

However, on March 17, JYP’s 2025 & Future Outlook plans were shared, and included information about VCHA making a comeback in the first half of the year.

Many reacted with excitement over the news, ready for new VCHA content.

On the other hand, many expressed disgust over the news, sharing plans to boycott the group’s upcoming release.

Plans for boycotting releases usually have a fandom-wide approval as it takes a lot to get to that level of disapproval. However, in the case of VCHA, many have seen the boycott as something that will only hurt VCHA, rather than prove a point.

Some have cited the debt the group currently has, among other reasons.

These claims have also bet met with backlash, as some feel you cannot support the group while supporting KG’s claims of mistreatment.

There are currently no formally announced plans for VCHA’s comeback as of writing.
