Police arrived at the scene a few hours later and dispersed the crowd. Many officers remained at the site to prevent any further altercations.
A Samsung Vietnam representative has claimed that the conflict was of a different nature and was not between the workers and the company.
Another source stated that all the workers were unharmed and only one guard sustained an injury.

Samsung Display recently invested $2.5 billion in doing business in Vietnam after acquiring a license to do so, which increased the company’s total investment in the country to $6.5 billion. Samsung Display’s factory in Vietnam plays a vital role in the company’s manufacturing process. Korean manufactured OLED panels are delivered to the Vietnamese factory and are later turned into circuit modules to be sent to Samsung Display’s affiliate, Samsung Electronics.
