Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin was the latest idol whose arrival raised concerns amongst netizens.
Recently, Hyunjin was spotted at the airport. In a video that has gone viral, as the idol was walking towards the exit, someone was extremely close to him while trying to shield her eyes. As Hyunjin continued walking, so did the person as he walked into a sea of fans.
Yet, while some netizens tried to defend the person, saying they could be staff, fans pointed out that the person was holding their phone as if they were recording the idol. Many also noticed in another video that that person was not with him when Hyunjin got into his car.
When the videos were shared online, netizens couldn’t hide their anger at the lack of security with Hyunjin that someone was able to get so close. They also called out the fan for trying to live the “y/n” life by getting so close to the idol when he felt uncomfortable.
she's not a staff, she's filming hyunjin and the bodyguard doesn't know coz he barely check on hyunjin. hyunjin would have disappeared in his back and he wouldn't even notice. Bravo jype you never fail to amaze me with your management pic.twitter.com/7aDzvcNriD

As always, the debate on whether idols should leave airports privately continues to raise discussions.
