WAKEONE Posts Long-Awaited ZEROBASEONE’s Ricky Update, Fans Voice Discontent Over Caption

ZEROSEs (ZEROBASEONE fans) have been increasingly frustrated by WAKEONE‘s treatment of Ricky.

When they filmed CAMP ZEROBASEONE, WAKEONE seemingly forgot about the two Chinese members, Zhang Hao and Ricky. They were initially denied entry into Jeju because they did not have their passports. Koreans do not need passports to travel within Korea. He also had to miss The 2023 Asia Artist Awards due to unresolved passport and visa issues.

This is so heartbreaking, he went to the airport with a smile on his face and after his flight got delayed his smile disappeared☹️

On October 31, 2023, ZEROSES were shocked by ZEROBASONE’s management’s actions during a set of live broadcasts. A manager could be heard yelling at Ricky for beginning his live broadcast without their permission, which outraged many netizens.

There have been a couple of issues recently during ZEROBASEONE’s tour. A sharp object pierced Ricky’s hand during a performance, and WAKEONE lost fans’ custom-made gift of in-ear monitors.

wakeone officially lost ricky's fanmade in-ears… mind you those are custom made and cost over a thousand dollars + delivery to the wk1 building which was done by a trusted member of the fanbase and funded by other fans. they are absolutely irresponsible and shameless

These are just a few examples of WAKEONE’s alleged mistreatment against Ricky specifically. Yet, what has had ZEROSEs especially upset recently is that it appears Ricky has been put on a social media ban, as he hasn’t posted since August.
