Following a recent fan meeting event, a fan accused ZEROBASEONE‘s Kim Jiwoong of cursing after the video call was over.
In addition to a short clip as “proof,” the fan called questions about his behavior—asking if it’s usual to end a fan call with a “ssibal” (or “F*ck”).

Do you usually say f*ck after talking to fans? I’m not sure so I’m asking other Zerozes’ thoughts.

WAKEONE defended the idol, commenting that the idol himself and other administrative and interpreting staff members confirmed that no cursing took place.
We checked with Kim Jiwoong himself and confirmed that the accusations are not true. Other administrative and interpreting staff also confirmed, too.

Prior to this statement, WAKEONE did issue another warning about “various crimes against ZEROBASEONE.” The supposedly “ill-timed” statement sparked its own round of backlash.
