Wanna One’s Lai Kuanlin Rumored To Sign With Chinese Agency, Cube Responds

Rumors began spreading that Wanna One‘s Lai Kuanlin signed a contract with a Chinese agency. Lai Kuanlin is currently under Cube Entertainment, but is promoting as a member of Wanna One until January 2019.

News reports claimed that Lai Kuanlin signed under a management created by famous Chinese producer named Ma Guo Jing. Ma Guo Jing is best known for managing popular Chinese actors, such as Jackson Yee and Liu Haoran.

Ma Guo Jing allegedly sent messages to his business acquaintances revealing that he signed with Lai Kuanlin.

“I’ve officially started a management label for Wanna One’s Lai Kuanlin. I’m greeting you in his stead. I hope there will be opportunities for us to work together.”

Cube Entertainment soon responded to the rumors, claiming that the rumors are false as nothing about Lai Kuanlin’s Chinese management is confirmed.

“Cube is currently the Chinese management for PENTAGON‘s Yanan, (G)I-DLE‘s Shuhua and Yuqi.

We will be discussing with Lai Kuanlin about his Chinese management once Wanna One’s promotions are over. Nothing is confirmed yet.”
