Warner Music Korea Responds To Accusations Of Trying To Poach FIFTY FIFTY With Official Statement
K-Pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY‘s agency ATTRAKT recently claimed that outside forces are trying to poach the group from their label. In a new statement on June 26, the agency named Warner Music Korea as one of those outsiders.
ATTRAKT’s statement read, “It turns out that an outsourcing company and Warner Music Korea are involved in the recent incident in which external sources attempted to lure the members with illegal intentions.” The agency also added that they have collected evidence of an outsourcing company making an offer to Warner Music Korea to sell them the group and that they are planning to take legal action.
In an exclusive interview with Star News, ATTRAKT’s CEO Jeon Hong Joon clarified that the agency’s primary opponent in this situation is not Warner Music Korea but the third party that approached them first. But he demanded Warner Music Korea explain its stance on this situation.
We know who it is. It’s very painful and disgusting. But what I want to clarify that the opponent I pointed out is not Warner Music Korea, but the third party behind the meeting with Warner Music Korea. I just want to hear what Warner Music Korea has to say about this.

After the allegations were exposed by the media, Warner Music Korea released a counter-statement, slamming all accusations. The label said, “The claims made by Attrakt are baseless,” adding that they are disheartened by the baseless rumors.
Hello, this is Warner Music Korea.
We would like to inform our official stance regarding the claims made by ATTRAKT, the agency representing the rookie girl group FIFTY FIFTY.
First, Warner Music Korea has been working with FIFTY FIFTY as an overseas distributor since April 1st, 2023. Since the contract was signed, we have been utilizing the capabilities and network of Warner Music Group to ensure the shining success of FIFTY FIFTY and their agency. So, we are very sorry that such unfortunate suspicions were raised.
Warner Music Korea has strived to do our best as a global distributor while respecting the opinions of artists and their agencies, as demonstrated by our various achievements.
The claims made by ATTRAKT are groundless, and it’s unfortunate that they sent a certification of contents.
We arnestly request you to refrain from spreading unverified rumors and baseless speculative reports in the future.
Thank you.
