After a rocky few weeks of promotion, Waterbomb LA has been officially postponed.

The official Instagram account for the event issued a statement that the event was postponed due to operational challenges. Those who purchased tickets will receive refunds.

We deeply appreciate the support and enthusiasm you‘ve shown for WATERBOMB LA 2024. However, due to various operational challenges, we regret to inform you that the event has been postponed. Your safety and delivering the best experience possible remain our top priorities, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We’ll return stronger and better prepared to deliver the WATERBOMB experience you’ve been waiting for.

This announcement was met with backlash in the comments from fans, including those with hotels and flights booked.

Previously, Waterbomb LA was met with criticism for high ticket prices and an unfavorable seating arrangement.

Because of this, they altered the seating chart for the event to include mostly general admission seating, as well as a resting and seated area.

The event was also called out for unprofessional social media management as critics had their comments deleted and accounts blocked.

Though the event is postponed, there is currently no news about if and/or when it will be held in the future.
