Weki Meki Officially Ends Group Activities, Five Members Leave The Agency
On August 16, KST, Fantagio, the management label of Weki Meki announced the official disbandment of the girl group.
In an official fan cafe post, the agency stated that all members unanimously agreed to end their official group activities from August 8, KST, after detailed discussions with the label.
Three of the members, however, are still negotiation their contract renewal with Fantagio, while the rest have decided to part ways with the agency.
Members Ji Suyeon, Choi Yoojung, and Kim Doyeon are currently in deep discussions to make the best choice for their future as artists. Meanwhile, Elly, Sei, Lua, Rina, and Lucy have decided to end their exclusive contracts after continuous discussions.

Fantagio expressed its well wishes for the departing members and requested fans to continue supporting them all in their new endeavors.
While fans already anticipated this news, it has still left them upset and heartbroken.

Meanwhile, Weki Meki, the eight-member group debuted in 2017 with the mini album WEME and title track “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend.” The group gaines significant attention for having former I.O.I members Yoojung and Doyeon on its lineup, as well as Elly and Sei, who gained popularity as Produce 101 Season 1 contestants.
