WINNER’s Mino Admits To Previous Suspicions Of Escaping Military Duties

WINNER‘s Mino, who was under suspicion of escaping service as a social service agent, appeared before the police for the third time for questioning.
The National Office of Investigation of the National Police Agency stated during a regular press briefing on March 31, 2025, that they had “conducted the third round of questioning on February 26” and that Mino “largely admitted to leaving his workplace during service hours.”
The police plan to determine whether charges will be filed based on Mino’s statements, as well as evidence obtained from searches of his workplace and residence.
Previously, the Military Manpower Administration requested an investigation after suspicions arose that Mino had not properly fulfilled his duties as a social service agent. In December 2024, the police booked him on charges of violating the Military Service Act. Mino began his alternative service as a social service agent at a facility in Mapo-gu, Seoul, in March 2023 and was discharged on December 23, 2023.
