Actor Woo Do Hwan Gets Criticized For Uploading “Intimate” Scene With Bona — Netizens React To The Controversy
Actor Woo Do Hwan‘s Instagram post has been met with mixed reviews.
Recently, the actor uploaded pictures to his Instagram in a post in which the actor thanked the staff, his co-stars, and fans for the success of Joseon Attorney.
I was so scared and nervous about returning after three years, but the wonderful actors, director, and staff members all gave me great strength. I would like to thank audiences for giving so much love to someone as lacking as me.

The actor also uploaded a now-deleted never-before-seen clip of his character in bed with Bona‘s character in the drama.
Some fans of Bona took exception to the post and asked that he delete the post.
- “Please take it down. Don’t you think there is a reason why the scene was edited out? Please take it down.”
- “My wish is for you to take this post down?”
- “Why did you post this?…”
- “Seriously, why did you upload this?”
- “Ajussi, take this down.”
- “Please take this down.”
As the issue went viral in online communities, many defended the actor, with fans stating that they didn’t understand what the issue was.
- “I think the drama’s fans would like this, so what’s the fuss about?”
- “If you just watched the clip, it might seem a little suggestive, but if you watch the full scene, the two look sweet and happy, which in turn makes me happy. I think he revealed that the drama ended with a happy ending.”
- “Why the controversy? Are they criticizing him for uploading an intimate scene? If that’s the case, then there shouldn’t be actors. He did nothing wrong.”
- “Huh? What is the problem?”
- “What’s wrong with that?”
- “Why is this an issue?”
- “Why do they not like it? Is it because she didn’t come out as pretty? Didn’t he just give fans an extra scene? I’m not sure what the issue is.”
- “They are making a fuss out of this? Why? It’s not even a kiss scene, ㅠ. My bias is also an actor, but I think this is fine.”
- “Why the fuss? What’s wrong with this?”
- “I feel bad for Woo Do Hwan.”
A representative of the actor responded to the controversy and revealed that Bona had agreed to the actor’s post.
The problematic clip was uploaded after discussing it with the actress (Bona). If there wasn’t agreement, he wouldn’t have been able to have the unreleased footage in the first place. He uploaded the clip for fans, but because there were some who were uncomfortable with the clip, he deleted it.
