The Latest Wooga Squad “In The SOOP: Friendcation” Trailer Hints That BTS’s V Might Have Planned The Whole Trip
There are a lot of iconic friendships in the Korean entertainment industry, and there’s nothing netizens love more than when their favorites interact with each other. One truly iconic friendship group is the Wooga Squad which includes BTS‘s V, Park Hyung Sik, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy.
Considering how much netizens love the Wooga Squad, nobody could hide their excitement after the announcement of In The SOOP: Friendcation, which will include all of the five friends.
After a lot of anticipation, a first look has been released, showcasing the besties in an HD poster. The show’s official title has also been revealed as In the SOOP: Friendcation (also known as In the SOOP: Friendship Trip).
They also released the first trailer, which showcases the members walking in the snow and towards the sea before taking an adorable selfie.
If the first teasers weren’t enough to excite you, the latest release from Disney+ is bound to get netizens ready for some truly wholesome Wooga Squad content.
When the trailer starts, it seems like all of the Wooga Squad have met up at HYBE‘s building as netizens saw the familiar colors and decor of the building.
Although the series had been planned, the opening scene alludes that the members didn’t know what was happening. As soon as they were all sat down, Peakboy explained, “So this is happening all of a sudden (right)?”
Yet, it seems like someone might have known everything from the beginning, and it was V. After hearing Peakboy’s comment, he replied, “Just trust me.”
According to the caption, the series will follow the members of the Wooga Squad over four days and three nights as they go on a trip to Gangwon-do in Goseong.
Of course, whenever the Wooga Squad gets together, it is true chaos, and it seems like this will be no exception. As the members hadn’t met up in a while, they decided to go fishing, and it was clear that Park Hyung Sik was definitely having fun as he shouted, “Wow, what is this? Hahaha.”
If that wasn’t full of enough adrenaline, the group then left the sea and hit the ice. As someone who always loves living life to the full, it wasn’t shocking to hear V exclaim how much fun he was having.
However, if netizens thought it would just be watching the group have fun, they couldn’t be more wrong. The final scene shows the members sitting in front of the fire and the caption explains that the group will spill on how they met.
Choi Woo Shik: So if we hadn’t played that game at the time, we might have never met…
Park Hyung Sik: No, I think we’d have met even in other ways
The Wooga Squad also reminisced on the past and, considering their busy schedules, it isn’t surprising that the members would have fun taking time out to look back on their first meeting.
Choi Woo Shik: Honestly, we’ve never been asked about this before, right?
Park Seo Joon: Never asked.
