Woollim Entertainment Releases Official Apology Statement Regarding CEO’s Actions In Recent Live Broadcast
During a recent live broadcast with Woollim Entertainment’s CEO Lee Jung Yeop and INFINITE members Woohyun and Sunggyu, controversy about the CEO hitting Woohyun on the head began taking over the internet.
As things began to get out of hand, Woollim released an official statement of apology regarding the CEO’s actions towards Woohyun and Sunggyu. He expressed that he should not have done those actions despite being close to the two artists. “I shouldn’t have acted that way on the live broadcast.”
He also apologized to not only the two members, but also to long-time fans of Woollim artists and to anyone who was uncomfortable watching the broadcast. “I would like to express my sincere apologies to the two artists, long-time fans of Woollim, and to those who were uncomfortable by my actions.”

Hello this is Woollim Entertainment’s CEO Lee Jung Yeop. First of all, I would like to apologize for my rash and inappropriate behavior during the recent Instagram live broadcast. No matter how close I am to my label’s artists, I should not have acted that way on a live broadcast. After checking the video content, I apologized to the two artists who were there during that time.
I would like to express my sincere apologies once again to all those who were uncomfortable watching the broadcast, to those that have been long time fans of Woollim Entertainment artists, and to the two artists.
