Fans Demand Answers As XEED Is Unexpectedly Disbanded

XEED is disbanding.

XEED is a South Korean boy group under Nature Space Entertainment, consisting of DOHA, SHUN, BAO, JAEMIN, and UO. They officially debuted on December 1, 2022, with the mini album Dream Land after successfully crowdfunding on the platform Rising Star, where they successfully raised over ₩36.0 million KRW (about $27,600 USD).

Prior to debut, they garnered attention on social media as every member was an adult. The maknae was already 26 (international age) at the time.

Yet, just a month after debut, one of XEED’s original members, vocalist RONI departed “due to personal reasons.” This left fans confused and concerned, especially after he was deleted from online content.

RONI, who has worked together as a member of XEED, will leave the group and cancel his exclusive contract with our company due to personal reasons.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the fans by the disappointing news.

As a result, XEED will continue the rest of their officially scheduled activities will continue as a 3 member team.

After his departure, former TARGET member SHUN (formerly known as Seul Chan) and former TST member UO (also known as Yonghyeon) were added.

Now, Nature Space Entertainment has delivered more shocking and unfortunate news. XEED will disband on April 8. The company released a statement in Korean via Daum Cafe.

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have shown infinite love for XEED, and we regretfully bring you some unfortunate news.

After a long discussion with the members, who have been working hard thanks to the fans’ love since their debut, XEED’s activities have been decided to end on April 8.

We would like to thank the members who have been with us for a long time, and once again, we express our gratitude to the fans who have supported us all this time. We kindly ask for your continued support for the members as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.

Naturally, fans are disappointed by the news. Yet, they also have concerns, considering that part of Nature Space Entertainment’s statement contradicted what members have said.

Nature Space Entertainment claimed that disbandment was decided after a discussion with the members. Yet, according to fans, both BAO and SHUN appeared shocked in bubble messages after the announcement. Still, the members were apologetic and asked fans not to be too upset.

Speaking of bubble, the members’ accounts will soon close as the group will disband. The members are reassuring fans that they will stay in touch with each other.

Additionally, fans noted that Nature Space Entertainment did not make this official announcement anywhere besides Daum Cafe. Nothing regarding the disbandment has been posted via the group’s official social media accounts.
