XG Earns High Praise For Their ASL Version Of “GIRL GVNG”
About a month ago, XG released the pre-release song “GIRL GVNG” from their upcoming first mini-album, NEW DNA, which is set to come out on September 27.
The members of the international girl group looked like absolute queens in the music video for the song, going for a futuristic/fantasy vibe that we’d love to see more of in the K-Pop industry.
The girl group is already known for the diversity of languages in their music, performing in their native Japanese as well as Korean and English. However, they’ve now expanded their potential audience even more by releasing an ASL (American Sign Language) version of “GIRL GVNG”!
In the music video for the ASL version, the members sign along to the lyrics in a very artistic and captivating way, making the entire thing look like a choreographed routine. It’s interesting to see how each member signs in a slightly different way, putting their own individual personalities into their performance.
The members no doubt put a lot of time and effort into learning the signs for the lyrics to the song, and they’re receiving nothing but praise in the comments of the music video!
We can’t wait for XG’s new album to drop in September!
