Xikers’s Tour Cancelled A Day Before The First Concert — Fans Outraged By KQ Entertainment’s Statement

This was the group’s first Asia tour.

In late December, it was announced that xikers would embark on their first-ever Asia tour. The tour, 2025 xikers WORLD TOUR: TRICKY HOUSE: FIRST ENCOUNTER in Asia, was set to start on January 17 in Bangkok and go on to Kuala Lumpur, Macau, and Jakarta.

However, on January 16, KST, KQ Entertainment announced that the tour would be cancelled. The company named “unavoidable circumstances, including visa-related issues and local conditions” as the cause of the notice.

Hello. This is KQ Entertainment.

We regret to inform you that <2025 xikers WORLD TOUR TRICKY HOUSE : FIRST ENCOUNTER IN ASIA>, originally scheduled to take place from January 17th to February 1st, has been canceled due to unavoidable circumstances, including visa-related issues and local conditions. Details regarding ticket refunds will be provided by BoxLive Asia, the event organizer. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to the performance.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and promise to return with an outstanding performance in the future.

— KQ Entertainment

As one can imagine, fans with plans of attending the upcoming shows were upset at the late notice cancellation. Many mentioned non-refundable aspects of attending the shows, like accommodations and flights, in their grievances to KQ and BoxLive Entertainment, the tour’s organizer.

In addition to anger over the cancellation, many fans criticized KQ Entertainment over the announcement itself. The announcement was shared in Korean, English, and Japanese, and did not include translations into Chinese, Indonesian, Malay or Thai.

Many felt that this was disrespectful, on top of the last minute announcement.

According to the announcements, the tour’s promoter will issue refunds for the concert tickets.
