Rookie Idol’s Reaction To Getting 3rd Place On A Music Show Gains Attention

Many fans agree with his thoughts!

One of the biggest landmarks of a K-Pop idol’s career is their first win on a music show. Each weekly music show offers a first-place award for the group that scores highest based on that program’s criteria.

As you can imagine, fans work hard to give their group wins; a first win can take several years for some groups.

Recently, a rookie idol’s reaction to not getting his group’s first win gained attention.

Three artists were nominated for first place on the September 24 edition of MTV’s The Show. P1Harmony, who recently returned with “Sad Song,” won first place and earned their second win ever.

As P1Harmony fans celebrated their win, the fanbase of one of the other nominees, Xikers, expressed some sadness over not being able to give the group their first win.  Fans of both groups offered messages of support to the other as well.

Xikers‘s Seeun seemed to have similar feelings about the P1Harmony’s win, which he shared in messages on a fan chatting platform.

As fans sent messages likely apologizing for not securing the win, Seeun stated that P1Hamony winning was okay because he was a fan of the group! He even said that “Sad Song” is one of his favorites these days.

And since I’m a fan of P1Harmony, I liked it. Sad Song, lately, it’s really my favorite song.
