Yang Hyun Suk reveals iKON’s end-of-the-year goal is to win “Rookie of the Year” in latest interview
Yang Hyun Suk recently partook in another interview with Star News where he divulged a bit more information on iKON‘s highly anticipated debut this September.
On July 31st, Yang Hyun Suk shared his high confidence in the upcoming boy group’s debut and said, “iKON will be releasing their debut song on September 15th and making their formal entrance into the music industry. In this amount of time, iKON has been hard at work and prepared many songs as candidates for their debut track.”
“Because there is a lot of interest in iKON, iKON has taken great care into perfecting their debut song. Their debut song that will be released in September will definitely meet everyone’s expectation.”
“iKON’s goal this year is the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award. It would be really great if they followed in WINNER‘s steps, who won ‘Rookie of the Year’ last year.”
iKON has already proven to have a great following of fan as they attracted over 7,000 fans in their first fan meeting shortly after the members were confirmed into the group in the MIX & MATCH finale last year. Since then, member Bobby took part of Show Me The Money 3 where he won, gaining even more recognition from the public for his rapping skills.
The boy group consists of members B.I, Bobby, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, Junhoe, and Chanwoo.
