YG Entertainment Is Picking Their New Artist From This Academy

YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk is reported to be selecting his new artist directly through their own academy, X Academy.

YGX, a sub-company of the agency, runs X Academy. They recently released their second teaser clip featuring iKON’s Donghyuk and exclusive dance team, HiTech.

X Academy is an academy launched this October and is located near Hongik University in Seoul. It aims to produce the best artists through a unique and systematic training system focusing on the art and culture accumulated by the agency on dance and vocals.

Famous vocal instructors and YG Entertainment’s exclusive dance team will be tasked to host workshops for aspiring talents.
