YG Entertainment Responds To Rumors Of BLACKPINK Leaving The Company
On December 30, it was reported that BLACKPINK would be leaving YG Entertainment in favor of the company’s subsidiary label THE BLACK LABEL.
According to the outlet KpopHerald (the K-Pop subdivision of media outlet The Korea Herald), it was believed that BLACKPINK would be leaving YG Entertainment and changing their management label to THE BLACK LABEL, which is an associate company under YG Entertainment.

Following the initial rumors, a new statement has been released from YG Entertainment regarding BLACKPINK’s position within the company. In the statement regarding the reports of BLACKPINK moving to THE BLACK LABEL, YG Entertainment stated, “It’s not true.”
