YG Entertainment’s Stock Value Skyrockets After BLACKPINK’s Record-Breaking Comeback

YG Entertainment‘s stock value has seen a double-digit rise in value following BLACKPINK‘s record-breaking comeback with “How You Like That”.

BLACKPINK made their comeback on June 26, 6 pm KST, which means the stock market in Korea was already closed for the weekend. Upon reopening on June 29, 9 am KST, the value of YG Entertainment’s stock immediately skyrocketed.

The value at the time of writing was ₩38,450 KRW ($31.98 USD), which is a huge 13.59% increase from before BLACKPINK’s comeback. The value even peaked at ₩41,000 KRW ($34.10 USD), reaching the highest value since March 2019, prior to Seungri’s scandal.

“How You Like That” also became the highest charting K-Pop song ever on Spotify’s Global Top 50 rankings, taking Number 2, only behind “ROCKSTAR”.

With 9 other incredible records, including biggest debut on Korean streaming sites and taking the record for most YouTube views in 24 hours with over 82 million, BLACKPINK are set on their path for world domination with this comeback.
