Here’s How Much Actor Yoo Ah In Spent On Drug Abuse
Actor Yoo Ah In was previously charged for drug abuse. He had been accused of the use of several drugs including propofol, cocaine, and ketamine. He only admitted to the use of marijuana and denied the rest of the charges, despite the outcomes of various drug tests.
On September 18, 2023, it was reported in Korean news that investigations showed Yoo Ah In abused drugs up to around 200 times. It was during these 200 times that he spent up to a total of ₩500 million KRW (about $376,000 USD) worth of propofol. This is not including the other drugs that he was charged with the usage of. This money was spent over the course of two to three years, since 2020.
The police previously submitted a warrant for arrest, charging Yoo Ah In with the use of 8 different types of drugs. They also charged him of coercing his travel buddy to participate in using marijuana overseas.
