Doctor Who Illegally Supplied Propofol To Actor Yoo Ah Gets Charged With Abuse Of Drugs Themselves
Actor Yoo Ah In faced criticism after his drug scandal came to light. Yoo Ah In was charged with abuse of drugs after test results showed that he had abused propofol, marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine. Investigations determined that he had been abusing propofol over an extended period, injecting almost twice a week in 2021.
It was reported that he had been prescribed propofol illegally by a doctor. Investigations later revealed that the doctor was also charged with abuse of drugs, having self-administered propofol himself. They were charged on March 16, 2023, and are still under investigation.
The doctor had been suspected of self-administering the drugs and was taken away on March 13. The drug tests were run on March 16, where they were charged with the crime. They will be charged together with having provided drugs to Yoo Ah In. It was reported in the media that the doctor, who runs their own clinic in Gangnam, is best friends with Yoo Ah In.
