Yoo Jae Suk Admits He “Disappointed” BLACKPINK’s Jennie With Their “Apartment 404” Reunion
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie made her first reality show appearance in five years as part of the star-studded cast of Apartment 404, which debuted on February 15, 2024.
Recently, the cast members gathered to film for famous comedian and MC Yoo Jae Suk‘s popular show, Pinggyego.
Actors Oh Na Ra, Cha Tae Hyun, Yang Se Chan, Lee Jung Ha, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie caught up and spoke about their lives, behind-the-scenes stories from filming Apartment 404, and more.
During the episode, Yoo Jae Suk and Jennie shared their first impressions of each other on set, though they have met before.
The two met in 2019 while filming for the second season of the reality show Village Survival, The Eight, and Yoo Jae Suk shared that he had made Jennie feel “a little bummed” when they reunited to film Apartment 404.
Jennie explained why she felt that way, sharing that when she first met Yoo Jae Suk, he greeted her in a kind and professional manner.
Yoo Jae Suk took over the explanation, demonstrating that he greeted her in a “rough” and casual manner when they reunited, very different from how she had first interacted with him.
He admitted he began treating her like a “little brother” and that he had disappointed Jennie with their reunion.
Of course, all is well between the two, and the full cast showcased their fun on and off-screen chemistry during their Pinggyego episode.
