Yoo Jae Suk Tests Positive For Covid-19, “Running Man” Films Without Him
MC and television personality Yoo Jae Suk has tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement shared to Sports Donga, Yoo Jae Suk’s agency Antenna shared his positive test results.
Yoo Jae Suk received a positive Covid-19 test result today. Yoo Jae Suk had received his second dose of the vaccine back at the end of September. On December 11, he was notified that he was a close contact of a positive case, and conducted a PCR test, which turned out negative. Afterwards, following the quarantine guidelines, a second PCR test was conducted this morning and the result was positive.
He is currently cancelling all schedules and taking the necessary measures in accordance with the health authorities’ guidelines. We will make every effort to ensure the health and safety of our artists and staff in accordance with their policies.

Running Man is scheduled to film on Mondays, and today’s recording went on as scheduled, but Yoo Jae Suk was absent.
Today’s recording was attended by all of the members except Yoo Jae Suk. The cast and staff members were not in close contact with him prior to filming, and everyone was able to proceed with the recording after testing negative via a self-test.
