On July 7, the YouTube channel Beautiful Nerd shared a sketch video featuring comedians Choi Je Woo and Jeon Gyeong Min as K$AP Rama and Poison Mushroom, a satirical K-Hip-Hop duo.

As the title, “How do rappers end up writing lyrics for idols? – [Hip-Hop Documentary: Underground],” suggests, the pair seek to write lyrics for an idol group, which ends up being YOUNG POSSE. YOUNG POSSE’s Sunhye and Yeonjung arrive at the small studio with a bodyguard and sit while waiting for K$AP Rama.

Once he arrives, the girls stand to greet him. He first shakes Yeonjung’s hand, holding it for an extended time while she tries to pull away. He does the same with Sunhye, with the bodyguard intervening each time.

K$AP then attempts to get the two idols’ phone numbers under the guise of communicating while working together, implying that he is asking for other means.

Later, K$AP discusses the group’s song XXL, reading the lyrics out loud. Instead of the line being “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,” he replaces six with sex, surprising the members and repeating it more than once.

Though this is meant to be satire, mocking people who actually act like this, many have felt uncomfortable with YOUNG POSSE being included. This is due in part to the young ages of the group — Sunhye is the oldest at 20 while Choi Je Woo is nearly 29.

Fans have demanded that the company take steps to protect YOUNG POSSE.
