Single’s Inferno star Choi Si Hun, who is soon to marry singer Ailee, has shared the heartwarming backstory of how the couple met. He credited a close friend as the unexpected matchmaker.

On April 14, he uploaded a new video to his personal YouTube. In the video, he revealed that he was meeting someone he’s deeply thankful to — the person who helped him cross paths with Ailee. The couple set out to buy a gift for this acquaintance.

The couple later met up with a surprising figure! YouTuber Junwoo, who boasts 1.37 million subscribers, was the one who had introduced the pair. They gifted him a set of expensive golf wear. It seems like he was also invited to give a congratulatory speech at the wedding, for he promised to make sure to mention the gift then.

Reflecting on their early days, Si Hun explained that a photo of Junwoo, Ailee, and himself had previously circulated the internet. Although many thought they were dating then, he had simply been introduced to Ailee by Junwoo back then.

Junwoo revealed that the pair met after Junwoo brought Ailee to Si Hun’s restaurant. He runs an upscale bar in Apgujeong.

Ailee and Choi S Hun are set to hold their wedding on April 20. Born in 1989, Ailee is three years older than Si Hun, who was born in 1992.
