Yuju Shows Off Her Hardworking Side In "Behind The Scenes" Recording Video

Soloist Yuju (previously of GFriend) released her debut mini album [REC.] on January 18th, 2022. The production of the album had Yuju all over it, with her having written lyrics for every song and aided in the music production for all but one.

The behind the scenes video of the recording posted to her official YouTube channel on February 8th shows more of the songwriting process Yuju went through alongside labelmate Chancellor, who also contributed to the lyrics and production of most songs on the album.

In the video, Yuju is shown workshopping lyrics to the title track “Play” with Chancellor, and he gives her positive feedback on the direction she’s moving with them.

He also readily accepts her choice of lyrics to fill a certain gap in the song.

Later on, Yuju really shines in the booth while she perfectly nails every note. It’s a lucky treat for fans to be able to see her in action like this!
