Yulhee Exposes Ex-Husband Minhwan For Going To Brothels During Their Marriage With Damning Recorded Phone Calls
Former LABOUM‘s Yulhee released a video on October 25, 2024. In the video, she exposed her ex-husband, F.T. Island‘s Minhwan, for allegedly going to multiple adult entertainment establishments including brothels and karaoke rooms with service girls.
She released recorded phone calls between Minhwan and his acquaintance, who seems to be his broker for such services. The first recording was dated August 14, 2022.
Choi Minhwan: “Hyung, are you at the store?”
?: “No I’m resting this week. I’m going on vacation.”
Choi Minhwan: “Oh, you’re resting? I see. Hyung, I want to go out tonight, is there anywhere worth going?”
?: “Well, apart from [redacted], there’s not really anywhere.”
Choi Minhwan: “Oh, they said there’s nothing there.”
?: “What do you mean nothing?”
Choi Minhwan: “There’s no ladies left now.”
?: “Oh you’re right. There must be a lot of customers because it is a Saturday.”
Choi Minhwan: “Yeah, I know, right? There’s so many customers. They said the waiting line is really long.”
?: “I know, there’s none left. I wonder where all the ladies went, and why you have to wait so long. What time is it now?”
Choi Minhwan: “I mean, I have to go home at 7 though.”
?: “F*ck, lol.”
Choi Minhwan: “I mean, if I want to go out and have fun, waiting one or two hours is fine… Well, what do you think is the better choice? For me to have fun until 7.”
?: “I’m [redacted] now. I’ll ask for you about another place.”
Choi Minhwan: “Okay hyung.”
After a short while, it seems like Choi Minhwan received a call back from his friend. The friend suggested a place for him where he could be entertained by girls.
Choi Minhwan: “Yes hyung.”
?: “From the looks of it, I don’t think you’ll have to wait a full hour at [redacted].”
Choi Minhwan: “The place below Prima?”
?: “Yes. I think that’s your best choice right now. It seems the fastest.”
Choi Minhwan: “Well, I mean, how do things work there? I know you can probably have a look at them first- How much do you have to pay for judae? (Fee for room not inclusive of fee for girls.)”
?: “It’s the same, it’s twenty [redacted].”
Choi Minhwan: “Oh, it’s all twenty? Okay I’ll head there first. Oh right, the last time when I asked them to ring me up, they mentioned a separate [redacted.]”
?: “Oh, I told the guy there about it. You can just send it.”
Choi Minhwan: “Oh okay, so I can just send it to you separately? Today too? Okay, sure.”
?: “How many people?”
Choi Minhwan: “Two!”
It seems like they had another call the same night. He mentions needing an unspecified item.
Choi Minhwan: “Hyung, sorry to bother you when you’re resting.”
?: “It’s okay, go ahead.”
Choi Minhwan: “Hyung, I need two toothbrushes and that. Please prepare it in advance. Two toothbrushes and that, and also two hangover drinks.”
While that happened on August 14, 2022, it seems like it was a constant occurrence for Minhwan. Another recorded conversation dated August 10, 2022, had him mentioning that he left the house secretly without his wife knowing. The call took place around 2am with his acquaintance. The acquaintance seems to be someone who works at an adult entertainment service, for he mentions his job to Minhwan. The place Minhwan is allegedly at here is a choice room, where someone termed a “waiter” brings in a selection of girls for the customers.
Choi Minhwan: “I came out secretly. Can you make a reservation at [redacted] for me?”
?: “Are you alone?”
Choi Minhwan: “I’m alone now, but another will come.”
?: “Sure, I will make a reservation for you. You know where the shop is located right? The location.”
Choi Minhwan: “Yeah I’m headed there now.”
?: “I’ll drop a message.”
Choi Minhwan: “Okay, tell them to treat us well.”
Choi Minhwan:”I’m in the store.”
?: “They said four of you are there.”
Choi Minhwan: “Yeah there’s four of us. Hyung, who’s the staff who will be in charge of us?”
?: “There’s a hyung that works with me, but he is in quarantine from COVID-19 right now, so a waiter will be in charge of you guys.”
Choi Minhwan: “Will he do a good job for us?”
?: “Yeah, he used to be above me when I was a waiter. He’s really good. He works with me a lot.”
Choi Minhwan: “Tell him to take care of us.”
?: “Sure.”
They continue to talk about how there seemed to be a lack of girls due to the bad weather. Most girls who work at such establishments are considered freelancers who travel to the shops. The recordings released span from July to August in that year.
