Former LABOUM Member Yulhee And FTISLAND’s Minhwan Are Getting Divorced
Idol couple Yulhee and Choi Minhwan is headed for divorce.
On December 4, Yulhee wrote to fans that she and her husband have decided to go their separate ways.
Today, I am sorry for coming to you guys with heavy news, but I am writing this to tell you in person. After many efforts and conversations, we have decided to go our separate ways.

The idol then emphasized that although the couple are no longer together, they would do their best to raise their children.
Although our road as a couple have ended, it does not mean our responsibilities as a father and mother have come to an end. Therefore, we are doing our best to raise our children and to communicate.

Yulhee then shared that Choi Minhwan is currently raising the couple’s children but that she is making her best effort to visit them as much as possible.
After a lengthy discussion to lessen the psychological toll on the children, we decided it was right for them to continue to stay where they are, and therefore, the children are currently staying with their father. I am spending as much time with the children as possible so that they don’t feel my absence.

The idol lastly shared her concerns for fans of the couple.
I am concerned that you may have been shocked as much as the support you have given us. But as this decision was made for our respective happiness, we ask that you look upon us warmly.

Meanwhile, Yulhee and Choi Minhwan married in 2018. The couple have three children together.
