TVXQ‘s Yunho will soon be making his return to the big screen. As his last acting work was five years ago with K-Drama Meloholic, many were anticipating his next work. On June 2, 2022, it was reported that he would be joining the upcoming movie, Race, as the male lead. It is about the digital generation that lives in a rat race.
He will be playing the CEO of a communication and PR company, Seo Dong Hoon. He was born in America but schooled in South Korea before doing a degree in design in New York. After graduate school, he started working in PR before becoming the CEO of the company.
His female lead will be played by Lee Yeon Hee. Lee Yeon Hee plays Park Yoon Jo, who strives to be a self-made woman despite her family background. Hong Jong Hyun will play Ryu Jae Min, a warm and smart person who seeks to create a better world. They enter a love triangle in the office with Seo Dong Hoon.
