Popular K-Pop Interviewers Under Fire For Problematic Behavior Toward Young Women
Zach Sang hosts a popular radio and podcast show called the Zach Sang Show. He has interviewed popular K-Pop groups BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, MONSTA X, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, LE SERRAFIM, P1Harmony, NCT 127, MAMAMOO, aespa, and many more.
Zach Sang is a K-Pop fan himself. So, most K-Pop fans trust him to ask sincere questions.

He also touched on topics most interviewers wouldn’t touch, such as cultural appropriation.
In an interview with THEBLACKLABEL‘s LØREN, Zach Sang also revealed that he is given many rules when interviewing idols, such as, “We used to get crazy notes like, ‘Can’t show knees. Or can’t f*cking [show some other common thing]…’”
Despite his good reputation in the K-Pop community, the internet is exposing Zach Sang for being “problematic” and “inappropriate” with his guests, specifically young women.
The Zach Sang Show has been in hot water since July when clips of interviews with actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter resurfaced. In many clips, Sabrina was a very young adult, but Zach’s friend and co-host Dan Zolot would attempt to flirt with her.

One of the worst clips is when Sabrina was still a teenager. Dan Zolot asked her if she partakes in sexting, to which she denied. Zach Sang chimed in but made it worse by talking about his own experience of receiving nudes.

Netizens pointed out that Dan Zolot was the one mainly responsible for these inappropriate moments with female guests. Yet, most agree Zach Sang is enabling Dan’s bad behavior.
