ZEROBASEONE‘s Gunwook was met with criticism for his behavior during a recent livestream — but netizens aren’t buying it.

During a birthday livestream for another member, Gunwook was seen eating 11 of 14 strawberries off of the cake.

The ‘strawberry controversy’ is that Gunwook, who ate 11 strawberries even though there are 9 members, seems to be the one to blame. It’s not even his birthday cake; it’s someone else’s birthday cake, so why did he eat so much?

While some netizens believed this behavior to be selfish in the presence of the other members, many chimed about how ridiculous the “controversy” is.

This is so hilarious. Every time there’s a controversy, it’s always some ridiculously funny one that I’ve never seen before. Embarrassing.

Others found Gunwook’s big appetite endearing.

The kid seems to have a huge appetite. Even in the self-filmed content, there’s no food left in front of the other members, but he’s the only one with a full plate, lol. This is so funny. At this rate, I might end up getting attached to Gunwook.
