Is ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao Managing The Group's Social Media? He "Exposes" WAKEONE's Incompetence

ZEROSEs (ZEROBASEONE fans) suspected Zhang Hao was managing the group’s Weibo (Chinese social media platform) account.

Recently, ZEROBASEONE’s Weibo account shared photos of Zhang Hao. ZEROSEs noticed in the caption that the social media manager had written in parenthesis, “Pretend it was from the company, not me.”

ZEROSEs took this as a “confession” that Zhang Hao was running the Weibo accounts and coming up with the captions as one of the Chinese speakers. Fans commended him for “exposing” WAKEONE.

Yet, this is not quite the whole story. Recently, Zhang Hao sent a message via Chat. He explained that there was some truth to the caption. A staff had asked him for a caption idea. The sentence in parenthesis was meant only for the staff! However, the staff had just copied and pasted Zhang Hao’s entire message to them.

The staff asked me to come up with a caption for yesterday’s Weibo post. I said just post something casually, like ‘lively youth under the sun,’ but it’s a bit funny to say something like this myself, so don’t tell anyone I wrote it. But they ended up posting the whole thing.

Helpp so the staff was the one that asked hao for the caption but he thought it sounded strange coming from him so he texted the staff to pretend the caption came from them, not from him. While some ZEROSEs thought the whole thing was funny, some felt it really did expose WAKEONE’s incompetence.
