Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Beenzino, FT Island’s Hongki and more celebrate Korea’s first snowfall
Many Korean celebrities delightfully updated their fans through their respective SNS accounts as they witness the first snowfall of the season!
On December 3rd, fans were treated to various updates by their favourite idols’ respective accounts as photos, videos, and other updates pertaining to Korea’s first snowfall were posted.
FT Island’s Hongki started the updates with a video clip of his pet dog playing in the icy sleet and dedicated his posts to his fans saying, “My baby pri…love you^^ #ftisland #leehongki #skullhong.” 2AM’s Jinwoon also documented the event and uploaded a video on his personal Instagram account.
Girls’s Generation’s Hyoyeon shared a photo of the first snowfall together with her celebrity friends, which came with a message saying, “first snow this winter with my friends, good times with good friends,” with tagged friends Henry Lau, miss A’s Fei and Jia, and more posting the same photos from their recent night out and snow trek.
Other artists such as Super Junior‘s Siwon, FT Island‘s Jonghoon, Kahi, T-ARA’s Soyeon, Beenzino, 2AM’s Jokwon and more also captured the interest of the fans for their related personal posts.
In popular Korean culture, witnessing the first snowfall with a special someone or a friend would mean that they would be inseparable. The event was further popularised by various dramas and movies promoted by the Korean Wave.
