Since those are things only the closest of friends do—and even lovers—IU revealed that some people have other ideas about their friendship.

When IU was interviewed for KBS‘s Star Date, there was no debate about the best friend she spent the most time with that year. The singer chose Yoo In Na, who she saw nearly every day.

We communicate so well. We meet at least once a week. If we meet a lot, it’s eight or nine times a week.

The two actresses spent so much time together that the host said, “You’re dating.” IU laughed after revealing just how common that thought was. She admitted, “People actually ask if we’re dating.”

Little did they know, IU is currently confirmed to be dating actor Lee Jong Suk.

And even before their romance, there was nothing unusual about besties IU and Yoo In Na spending all their time together.
