2PM’s Wooyoung Gets Emotional Talking About His Life After His 20s
2PM‘s Wooyoung, Jun.K, and Nichkhun recently made an appearance on Eat More and discussed their solo activities. When Wooyoung’s turn to share came around, he got a bit emotional.
During a meal shared with comedian Kang Ho Dong, Wooyoung revealed how he felt after he was constantly working in his 20s.
Honestly, I was hit by so much work in my early 20s. We first did acrobatics, tumbling, and more. We threw ourselves at a lot of things and because we were so fierce about things, I became lethargic in my 30s.

Wooyoung went into detail about the emotions he’s received in his 30s and shared that his concerns got pretty deep.
Then I thought ‘why aren’t you practicing dancing?’ and ‘Why isn’t dancing fun?’ I got so deep. I even thought, ‘Why am I living?’ Since then, I have to find an answer. I thought about going to my hometown, Busan.

Wooyoung debuted in 2PM, 2008 under JYP Entertainment. He was only 19 years old when he debuted and worked hard as a K-Pop idol from there. Fans are sympathizing with Wooyoungs thoughts and can completely understand why he would feel the way he does.
He became teary and shared “I didn’t want to tell my members my problems. I didn’t want to burden them.” Along with Wooyoung, fellow member Jun.K got emotional as well as he wiped his tears away with a tissue.
Luckily, Wooyoung shared a positive side to the story. He revealed that he watched a documentary about musicians that changed his views.
I watched a documentary featuring a lot of musicians and seniors. At the time, Mr. Baek-ho Choi came out. I thought, ‘I have to see Mr. Baek Ho Choi.’ I cried loudly when I was speaking with him. The teacher said that he left for America in his mid-30s with the same thoughts I did. In his 40’s he wrote a song titled ‘About Romance’ and gained courage.
