TXT‘s Soobin is officially the most successful fan ever!

Soobin is an outspoken fan of American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha. For years, he has made it known how much he admires her.

They met via live broadcast in April 2020 but never in person at that point. Fans have hoped for a collab for a while, but she explained via Twitter that communication between her company and BIGHIT MUSIC wasn’t easy.

We all hoped that Soobin and Bebe would finally meet when they both appeared at the 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs). Still, he was happy to see her perform live. 

Bebe had hoped to meet Soobin too. Unfortunately, the group’s flight was the day after, so they just missed each other.

Bebe quote-tweeted Soobin’s sad response, reassuring him they would keep in touch. She even gave him her number!

TXT returned to the United States to perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden as part of their “Sugar Rush Ride” promotions.

When Bebe heard TXT were in Los Angeles, California, she tried to call Soobin. It seemed he didn’t pick up, though, as she shared a screenshot of a failed FaceTime call via Twitter, tagging TXT’s official account.

MOAs were imagining Soobin must be panicking after missing yet another opportunity to meet his idol!

 

Well, Soobin didn’t completely fumble… Bebe Rexha later shared a video via TikTok and Twitter, dancing to her song “Heart Wants What It Wants.” She motioned for someone to join her from off-camera and…

They appeared, and it was none other than Soobin himself! So, they danced together.

Based on Bebe’s outfit, he must have returned that call shortly after, as she was dressed the same.

Fans were so excited that Soobin’s longtime dream of meeting his idol finally came true! We couldn’t be happier for him.

Now, we just hope we can get a collab!

A month later, she shared they were able to grab breakfast together too.

It’s been a while, but we hope they can meet up again soon!
