Upcoming 5th-Gen Girl Group Has 10 Brand Deals Lined Up Before They Even Debut

But there’s a good reason why…

Months ahead of their debut, one upcoming rookie girl group already has a staggering 10 potential brand advertisements lined up!

The group in question is MADEIN, set to debut under 143 Entertainment later this year. Shortly after all seven members were revealed on social media today, the agency’s CEO took to Instagram to reveal all in a story post: the group already has four confirmed ads, three ads upcoming, and three ads currently in negotiations, bringing the total up to double figures if the final three ads are secured.

But, while it may seem shocking that a group that hasn’t even debuted yet could have so many sponsorships on the go, you may be so surprised if you already know the lineup. MADEIN features several familiar faces, including all three members of 143 Entertainment’s previously debuted girl group, LIMELIGHTMiUSuhye, and Gaeun.

More notably, however, are two of the newly added idols: Mashiro and Yeseo, who most will know as two of the former members of Kep1er. Kep1er was originally formed on survival show Girls Planet 999 as a nine-member act, but earlier this month, that number officially dropped to seven as Mashiro and Yeseo were withdrawn to return to 143 Entertainment.

Rounding out the group are two more known idol hopefuls (Serina and Nagomi from Produce 101 Japan), making the final lineup three Korean members and four Japanese members.

With the global popularity that Mashiro and Yeseo’s existing fanbases are expected to bring to the group, it comes as little surprise that they’re already majorly appealing to companies looking for sponsors.

And, this isn’t the first time a rookie group has debuted in endorsements in than. In fact, it’s becoming more common by the year, and new acts don’t even need to be from “Big 4” labels to score them. Earlier this year, for example, Brave Entertainment‘s rookie girl group Candy Shop debuted with nine brand deals in hand.

Despite coming from a small agency, MADEIN has also already racked up over a quarter of a million Instagram followers, making them even more appealing for ad deals. All things considered, MADEIN seems set to reach a wide audience when they officially debut in September 2024.
