Actor Lee Dong Wook Chose His Favorite K-Drama He Ever Acted In, And It May Be Unexpected
Starting from 1999, actor Lee Dong Wook has featured in many famous K-Dramas with amazing cast members like My Girl and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. Out of all the roles he’s taken on, Lee Dong Wook revealed which one was his favorite and why.
ELLE Singapore asked the veteran actor to choose the drama that took the top spot as his favorite to act in. Because of all the options, it was “hard to choose.”
The choice was made more difficult because he’s played so many “different characters.” Still, there was one that stood out for Lee Dong Wook.
He enjoyed playing the lead character Ryu Su Yeol in Bad and Crazy (2021). Lee Dong Wook revealed what was so unique about the character, “My agony, and my fierceness.”
Lee Dong Wook was so interested in the tough yet warm heart of the character that he suggested everyone give it a watch.
Rather than one of his romantic roles or a fantasy character, he chose something much more realistic. Listen to Lee Dong Wook explain why paying a corrupt police detective who’s fighting for justice stood out to him most.
