Actress Kim Tae Ri Gets Real About Her Worrying Sleep Schedule
Actress Kim Tae Ri has captured hearts with her lovable personality and captivating acting performances.
Kim Tae Ri has impressed fans since her debut film, The Handmaiden, for which she won the award for Best New Actress at four separate film awards.
Earlier this year, she charmed fans with her portrayal of the spirited fencer Na Hee Do on Twenty Five Twenty One, earning her Best Actress in a television series and Most Popular Actress at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Most recently, she starred alongside actors Ryu Jun Yeol and Kim Woo Bin in the sci-fi movie, Alienoid.
Understandably, the actress’s life has been insanely busy, but she still maintains her cheerful personality wherever she goes.
Even when stressful moments arise, such as her recently losing her ring at an Alienoid press event, she is never without a smile. What was a chaotic moment when her ring flew off her finger quickly turned into an adorable resolution as she brightly smiled when her fellow castmates helped her locate the jewelry.
Her bright personality was also on full display in her latest interview with ELLE Korea. ELLE had the actress playing a fun game, asking her to answer a series of questions by holding up an emoji that best represents the answer.
From the first question, Kim Tae Ri showcased her hilariously straightforward personality, stating that she loves to sing recently and was asked to stop multiple times on the ELLE Korea set but continued anyway.
She relatably revealed that because she’s energetic, she gets tired if she has to focus on one thing for too long.
After that reveal, it made sense that she described her daily life as crazy and busy. Korean celebrities are known for their hard work and dedication, often working grueling schedules during promotions.
She worryingly disclosed that she only gets two or three hours of sleep a day, optimistically explaining that she has “too many things [she] wants to feel and enjoy” and that sleeping would just get in the way.
She then shared that she felt five hours of sleep was “a lot” and that sometimes she only sleeps for 30 minutes to an hour, and other times she doesn’t sleep at all.
In the video, she revealed that she hadn’t slept that much the night before, and her body was exhausted, but you would never know by the positive way she answered.
Her exhaustion was not evident as she continued with her enthusiastic responses to each question, proving her hardworking personality.
As she completes her Alienoid promotions, she’ll hopefully have time before her next project to catch up on some well-deserved rest.
